Gotta Love Ric Rac

Since spring has finally spung, I've had the urge to create some spring creations. So I spend a little time working on some doll dresses. I love poke dots and the soft spring colors of these materials.



I'm also a fan of ric rac and so added some along the bottom of the gathered skirts. As you can see these aren't completed yet. I need to make the bodice and some bloomers. Then decide which dolls will look best adorned with this spring attire.





I've really never been a big maker of Raggedy Anne cloth dolls but lately I've really wanted to do some cute, whimsical style dolls. So maybe these dresses will be ideal for that type of doll.
